In 2019, a non-profit organization named Healthy Babies Bright Futures published a report entitled “What’s in My Baby’s Food?” The study determined that 95% of tested baby food products contained toxic heavy metals, including arsenic, lead, cadmium and mercury.
Various baby foods have been found to contain up to 177x more than the acceptable level of lead, up to 91x more than the acceptable level of arsenic, up to 69x the acceptable level of cadmium, and up to 5x more than the acceptable level of mercury.
